I wasn't really planning to take a break from blogging for the holidays, but that's how it seems to be working out. Please excuse me. I'm saving this week's featured artist for next Sunday--I don't want her to get lost in the holiday shuffle. You're going to love her.
Today, I got the Christmas gift of my dreams and prayers. I opened my front door this morning to find my daughter Codie standing there. She wouldn't come into the house, and the visit lasted only a minute or two. I asked if she needed something from the house. She said she just came by to say Merry Christmas. I got a hug and a long look at her precious face. I don't know when I'll get to see her again--perhaps not till next Christmas. But tonight I'm a very, very happy mom, indeed.
Here's a look at my beautiful daughters: Codie (18) on the left, Rachel (20 next month) on the right.

Oh Denise, I'm so happy that you had the visit. I know it meant the world to you. I hope the new year will bring you more visits with Codie. Lisa B.
You have beautiful daughters and I'm glad you had a visit for Christmas, even if brief. Wishing you a happy new year!
