I'm back. Well, mostly. I actually arrived in Arkansas Thursday morning, after an unexpected overnight stay in northern Kentucky. I slept most of that day. Friday, I sat around amid luggage and dirty laundry, embroidering and denying that my vacation was ending. Today, I arose to bright sunshine and a bit more energy. I'm still only halfway through my laundry, and my house is pretty horrifying, but I'm coming back to the real world bit by bit.
I had the time of my life at Disney World with Polly and Claire. How nice to discover that we all travel so well together--one more thing to add to my list of joys. Claire was so adorable, so thrillable. It was a delight to experience Disney World with her.
There is so much to tell--more than anyone but the three of us would enjoy hearing about. I won't try to capture all the details here (though I may not be able to resist dropping a story from time to time). But just for the record, here is a tiny percentage of the photos we captured. I almost escaped appearing in any of them.
(1) Claire and Polly arriving in Orlando. (2) Entering Epcot. (3) With Toy Story characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear. (4) Polly with a dairy cow. (5) Polly and Minnie in the garden of Minnie's home. (6) Claire and Polly with Mr. P at Downtown Disney. (7) Claire singing karaoke with some British kids at our hotel. (8) The three of us in our "car" at the Sci-Fi cafe.
The trip is over, but we get to keep the week forever.
