Elizabeth's flowers

I had the privilege of selecting flowers for Elizabeth Newsom's wedding. I can't wait to show her how they turned out, so I'm posting them here. If you don't know Elizabeth or you don't care much about weddings, please excuse this post. And if you happen to be going to the wedding...try to act surprised.

Rhonda and Elizabeth! Look! The floral designer is freakin psychic. She didn't use some of the things we picked and substituted others, and when I saw the flowers, my mouth fell open.

Here are the boutonnieres. On the left are the "regular" ones. Can you tell that the roses have little dew drops on them? On the right is Jason's, which is made out of flowers from Elizabeth's bouquet.

Here are the corsages for moms, grandma, and Ashley. If you look hard, you can see that, on a whim, the designer worked in some sprigs of glass beads. Some are pale green. Some (OMG) are like the beads at the neckline of Gracie's dress! Spooky.

Here is Gracie's bouquet. The designer is a genius. She figured out how to make the wrapped stems look like a fresh bouquet instead of silk. The streamers of sheer green ribbon were a surprise to me, but I think they're lovely. I tried to give you several angles here. The last one is looking straight down into the bouquet.

And here is Elizabeth's bouquet. I'm not sure if you can tell, but tucked in here and there are the little orchids and purple roses. And the streamers are edged with pearls.

Elizabeth, I hope these match what you imagined for your flowers. I'm so excited, now, I'm ready to head to Tennessee today!

Hi, Kiley! Thanks so much for your sweet post! I do have an Etsy shop, but I use it to sell my collages. The little outfits I made were for a friend's baby. I'd be happy to share the pattern numbers and fabric info with you. Just drop me a line at denfel@hotmail.com. And thanks again for coming by!
